One of Steve Bigalow’s (CandlestickForum.com) favorite patterns is
the BEST FRIEND — bullish: a doji with stochastics oversold followed by a gap up, or Bearish: a doji with stochastics in overbought followed by a gap down.
[For this scan, we’ve set overbought > 80 and oversold < 20; user can check chart for trading decisions. Stochastic is 7,7,2] Min. price = $5.00; Volume today > 1,000,000 shares; previous doji <= 1% of open price of the share. Here’s my scan for that pattern tonight:
